AMMA AWARDS
SEASON 3 Nominees Award Night was an exceptional event in the face of
entertainment industry in Arewa. The Kannywood scene was well
represented with movie producers, directors, cameramen, actors,
actresses, etc.
Their music counterparts were not left out in the razzmatazz. Top music artists,producers and models also graced the
AMMA AWARDS NOMINEES NIGHT.

Nomiis Gee was Arewa 24's Anchorer who was seen busy interviewing the Arewa stars on the Red carpet.

Hiphop was there too live and direct to cover the event with respect to
the music scene. Notable artists present include Dr Pure, Ricqy Ultra,
Nomiis Gee,D'Mej Bidbit (Music/Film Director) Edee cool,Mighty Swagg
Republic, Nasiim Umoru, Ali Jita, Tagwayen Asali, Mic Flamer, GFresh
& Al-Ameen.

The
Red Carpet started at exactly 7:30pm with participants ushered into the
venue by AMMA representatives. The MC made formal introductions before
acknowledging the presence of invited guests, government
functionaries,Actors/Actresses,Music artists,Business/Corporate
Organizations,Pressmen,Media houses,etc.
- NOMIIS GEE INTERVIEWING SOME OF THE GUESTS AT THE RED CARPET
Alhaji
Isma'il Na'Abba Apakallah was invited over to the high table who
happens to be the Executive Secretary of Kano state Censorship Board. He
gave a brief speech before officially unveiling the
AMMA AWARDS SEASON 3 Nominees Dinner with a word of prayer.

There
was entertainment from Tagwayen Asali after which Shehu Hassan Kano
cracked the ribs of the audience for some few minutes. G-Fresh &
Al-Ameen alongside Nomiis Gee performed Kano To California which wowed
the audience.

Nazifi Asnanic & Ali Jita also performed after which their performance was graced with 2 car keys as gifts from the crowd.
Hafsa
Zee Aflam entertained the guests with her usual Indian music. After her
performance, the MC invited Ali Nuhu to the stage to dance alongside
the Indian dancer and they both had a brief dialogue before dancing
together for some few minutes which impressed the guests at the event.

The proper handover was done with the judges submitting the Nomination Certificates to the
AMMA AWARDS ORGANIZERS.
The organizers thanked the judges for a job well done and subsequently
called on some notable guests to present the nomination certificates to
the nominees.

G-Fresh & Al-Ameen were nominated in three (3) categories; BEST R&B, BEST HIPHOP MUSIC AND BEST HIPHOP VIDEO.
Ricqy Ultra Reborn bagged two (2) nominations in the AMMA NEW AGE VIEWER CATEGORY & BEST RAP PERFORMANCE.
Ahmad Musa Danja also bagged (2) nominations in BEST COLLABORATION
& BEST R&B. Jungle Boys also had (2) nominations in BEST HIPHOP
MUSIC & BEST NEW ARTIST.
Other artists who bagged nominations
include Dabo DaProf & Mic Flamer (BEST RAP PERFORMANCE); Neezy
Fresh, Yung Sam, Whimz C (BEST NEW ARTIST);Saifullahi Ibrahim (DR PURE)
in BEST ALBUM; Rapheal Jon Don R in BEST MUSIC; Nomiis Gee in BEST
VIDEO.
Saeed Nagudu won a nomination in BEST COLLABORATION with
the song FYADE(RAPE) which featured Ricqy Ultra,KefaZz,Ibrahim Kast
& Aminu Jolly;Tagwayen Asali in BEST COLLABORATION with the song
DESTINY which featured ClassiQ.
The Music Producers Category was
not left out as NeXceZz Beatz, KefaZz Simple Touch and Bello Vocal also
bagged a nomination for the BEST MUSIC PRODUCER category.
